I feel sort of stupid but I can't seem to capture my poker tracker stats. When I push print screen nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

When you press Print Screen, an image of your screen is copied to the clipboard. You need to paste it somewhere.

Start Paint or Word etc and then:
Edit->Paste

I got my image now how do I get displayed on a post?

You need to find an internet site that will host your picture for free. Sorry, I don't know any offhand, use Google. Also, your internet service provider will often give you free web space.

1.] hit Alt+PrintScrn (captures/copies only the active window to clipboard. -very handy.) or PrintScrn to capture the whole viewable screen.

2.] Open Paint and hit Ctrl+V to paist. Then save as and choose .jpeg (or .jpg) as the type of file. (you can use any photo editing software but paint is free with windows)

3.] GO to http://www.imageshack.us/ and upload your picture. -Follow their instructions on how to link to it.

I am using version 7 of a utility called Snagit. I'm not associated in any way with this product or the company that developed or sells it. I just find it very powerful for capturing screen prints, etc. It can convert a screen image to text. I use it to quickly get a text file output from almost any window/region displayed, even the Party buddy list, PT windows and more....
