Villain in this hand appeared LAG for the 10 or so hands I had been at the table. I hate the way I played this, so what suggestions do you guys have for these types of hands.

Hand one I re-raise pre-flop since I have great position. This will allow both of you to define your hands a little more and will leave you guessing less after the flop and you'll encounter less aggression, unless villian really has a big pair.

Hand 2. After your re-raise and then you're raised all-in AND you have an all-in caller. Your set of 6's isn't looking as great. Still at this level I think I'd call without a read, otherwise I'd fold this hand as you're likely against higher set or straight. There's a high possibility that someone slowplayed high pair and is trying to nab the pot, so I think a call is OK, but a re-raise all-in is a little much since you already have a caller.

Hand 1: you could 3 bet in size pre flop for these not too uncommon undercard flops. That way, if he doesn't 3 bet you you can assume he hasn't got an overpair while if he does 3bet you you can dump it. Flop fold shows discipline but many people here may suggest you could call and see the turn in position.

Hand 2: bottom set on coordinated board vs 2 all in(including 1 check raise all-in)-I fold but many may suggest that's too tight.

hand 1) I believe you are ahead here about 90 % of the time. I put your hand into Pokerstove and put the range of hands villain could have and your Equity was 51 % but how can that be ? Any experts want to explain that ? He isn't likely to be up against AA , KK, or QQ. Does this mean it's 50/50 right here because the times when he isn't beat , Villain still has 6 outs against him with AK and AQ ?

Hand 2) I like your play. I wouldn't fold a set here against UTG. He isn't likely to have played T8 or 85 or whatever to flop the straight and you still have outs to the full. As long as you beat MP1, you can still make money if you are beat. I put UTG on A9 or 88, TT, or JJ.
