No offense but your list isn't very good... it sounds like you just took all the big bankroll players from rojosox's thread and put them in a random order.

For example:

Nutzrealbig does not belong even close to #2...

And I already told you I was #1... Plus you are discounting cash game players that could crush SNGs if they put a couple hours into learining the adjustments.

The funny thing about this list is that only Skipper will take it to heart.

I can't wait for the 'voted better than Yugo' rants start.

Way to show only the step 5 players. These type of lists are dumb because there's way more than 10 and how exactly can you compare. Also, I fear more the unknowns that are brilliant at the lower levels/cash games and are coming up fast than someone who's already known. Plus, some people play brilliant at some levels where they might just blend in and they might not want to move up.

post counts and clique memberships are much more important than poker skills when 'respect' is being handed out.

He was clearly joking, as were the people who posted the lists, stop taking things so seriously.

And as to your ascertation that 8 of the top ten party players lurk or post here on a regular basis, that would be interesting to find out, my guess is it might be closer to 5 of 10 depending on your definition of 'regular'.

I am sure im going to get flamed for this but I was lookin up some of the top 10's on poker prophecy and some players stats weren't all that special, however some people's were real nice. Rojosox for example is someone I would never want to play against. Good work though.

I like this Joeadd guy! Just finished a grouping of 100 sngs at the 200 level and went 52/100 ITM. Dali and I have a $100 bet that I cannot do 50/100 ITM in ANY of my next 9 grouping of 100. Will post results later

Can you take any 100 in a row or does it have to be 101-200, 201-300 etc.

Also I think that in order to win the bet you probably have to play sub-optimally, but I suppose it's worth it to take Dali's money /images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Rojosox
04-27-2005, 02:43 PM
101-200, 201-300 and so forth. I think he actually said in a 1000 game stretch, i will verify with him. I truly think I can do this. I honestly think I average about 45% ITM on the 200s.

Jared

Voltron87
04-27-2005, 02:52 PM
If it's a 100 game stretch I think it would be doable at the 200s if you played sub optimally at times to sneak in, but a 1000 stretch I don't think is possible.

Rojosox
04-27-2005, 02:57 PM
its just a 100 grouping within a 1000
1-100
101-200
201-300 I get "10" Chances.
If I average 44.4% now, which I think is what I'm at, then it should be feasable.

Voltron87
04-27-2005, 03:01 PM
Not easy, but feasible.

Though you'll probably lose money doing this over 1000 SNGs if you outfold into the money, and if the stake is 100$.

Which begs the quesiton, are DaliDollars worth more than USD?

Rojosox
04-27-2005, 03:05 PM
im not changing my gameplay at all for this....... I just truly feel I can do it. I think I may be able to do it 2-3x

If your ITM is really 45%, you have an 18.4% chance of getting 50% in any given stretch of 100.
---> 1-(1-0.184)^10=87% to get it in 10 tries.

If your ITM is really 40%, you have an 2.5% chance of getting 50% in any given stretch of 100.
---> 1-(1-0.0.25)^10=22% to get it in 10 tries.

Your ITM to make this an even-money bet has to be about 42%. Good luck.

Slim
