Why did you check the flop? Do you usually check flops when overs fall or you miss? I'm guessing you wouldn't have stayed in if he didn't bet so weakly... Other than that, I would have loved playing it your way if I was up against a maniac.

If he bets 2/3 pot back at me on the flop I would fold. So many donkeys check AK there so he pretty much has to have the goods to bet back at me. So I'm not getting bluffed out by a worse hand here, and a bet by me folds everything I have beat. That's why I checked. His bets felt like bluffs so why stop him?

Definitely open to criticism though. If I have KK and the flop is A high, not K high I love this line. In this case I'm not so sure...
