The table was seeing 4-5 on each flop, but with relatively passive play. Villain is unknown.

I hate giving this up, but i also hate calling and getting three-bet behind me. What to do?

Hero doesn't even consider folding, but instead considers whether calling down or three betting is the best play. I'm in the 3bet camp. Only one combo of AA, a 9 is very very unlikely, and it's very possible that button would play AQ this way.

Also, cap preflop.

Your flop bet sucks, just check and call here.

Turn bet is good.

Turn: (11.16 BB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif (4 players)
MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, Button raises, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

River: (15.16 BB) 3/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 17.16 BB

Maybe this only seemed like a difficult hand to me because I was in a losing streak and my confidence was shaken. So i bet the turn and get raised, easy call down situation?

you put him on KQs or something here? I'm going to smack him back after those folders leave you ahve TPTK against someone that didn't show preflop he was on a flush draw.

I wouldnt' be surprised to see AK /images/graemlins/spade.gif from him or AQ /images/graemlins/spade.gif. Either way on the turn you are ahead or chopping if he caps check/call river.

WTF flop bet?

Very idiotic.

On the turn I'm calling and probably betting a non-spade river. I'm not folding to a raise either.
