Should I turn this jerk in for what he said in the chat box? I think that saying your hand is completely bush, but what do you guys think? This was a $55.

That's not that bad. Last night I was on a table, one guy pushes from UTG, the BB is thinking about it (UTG was short stacked) and says, "I've got nothing". UTG says, "I've got KQ", BB thinks a little longer and folds.

Um, why do you guys have to look at these situations as such a bad thing. Once it gets to the bubble just raise the big blind's blind everytime then when he goes to think say in the chat room "Fold I've got Kings".

I'm sure most of these table talking players have a negative EV, just let them talk and donate.

none of these are as bad as what happened to mlg last night

aruba satellite on UB

somethin like 9 left w/ 8 getting seats

2nd biggest stack raises, biggest stack reraises all in

after some time passes, the biggest stack types "I have AA, you should fold, i'll show"

i'd go berzerk.

why? I'd probably fold Kings here anyway if I was the second stack. Hell, I wouldn't want to call with Aces to tell you the truth...

Why is the 2nd big stack raising into the big stack anyway??

As if he could know the big stack was going to re-raise him....

umm...cause if the guy was STUPID enough to actually call and lose then everyone left gets a seat. his chat in the box prevented him from possibly making that mistake.

you don't see something REALLY wrong with that?

This is the latest in a bluff game. Tell someone what you have . I have aa (but really I have 88) or really have aa and say you have 88. You have to decide whether to believe them or not. I don't think I'm going to call an all in with KK.

I won a online tournament, by telling everyone what my hand was and showing them everytime.

Once I got head to head, I stopped showing my hand and won a lot of pots and later I won.

In retrospect, probably not a good idea to do this. I educated everyone at the table about my game.

Not really, big stack could be lying anyway and show a trash hand. Just because someone says something in a poker chat room, doesn't make it true...especially players playing against you at a table for a sum of money.

Maybe it helped him maybe it hurt him...who really can say?

At the same time, the big stack doesn't want him to call even if he has AA. I'm sure this is against the rules, but from the big stack point of view its a good move.

How do you fold AK face up? Um, yeah, if I was playing only that table I'd be a little upset the second stack wasted all that time thinking about it. Other than that, I think I'd be fine.

This should have been the response:

Dear Jim,

After reviewing your complaint we think it's time you stopped acting like a big girl. Who care that he announce he had QJ. We don't, nobody else does. Get a life!

Thanks

Yes, exactly. Usually they're called "Customer Support" though.

You'd be fine!

Theres a chance AK gets busted and you win your seat but AA tells AK to fold and your only concern is the 30 seconds or so wasted.

9 left, 8 get seats, and you're in 2nd place with AA. Are you gonna call an all-in from big stack? Me neither. Big stack knows this and will re-raise anything.
