Would it be possible to start a petition to get a user banned? How many 'signatures' would be required for said user to be banned?

I think it is time to lay off of Dead. He seems to have made an effort lately to stem his mass posting and has productively contributed to several threads.

Most importantly he does not start threads however veiled about other posters.

Why not email mat with your concerns and let him judge based on your issues with the said poster.

Starting a poll and potential flame war (and possible spilling in to other posts and forum areas) after it isnt the way to address whatever it is you have a problem with, PM people who you think might have the same view to contact Mat as well but personally I would keep it off the public board.
