palindromes

Palindromes: Words, or sentences, that are read the same forwards and backwards letter by letter.

Noon, dad, poop are examples of simple palindromes.

Rats live on no evil star, is a sentence palindrome.

My favorite so far:

Never odd or even.

Palindrome story:

So my buddy's Dad is real nice guy, but kind of a huge dork. So 2002 is rolling around and he decides to get about 200+ T-shirts made that just read:

Palindrome
2002

Then sets up a website and everything to try and sell them. Turns out they weren't exactly a big ticket item. The sweet thing was that he just gave a bunch of em away to all my buddies and me and we would just were them around for IM sports or wherever.

if you're not at least somewhat into hip-hop some of those palindromes will look like jibberish. he had a contest to see who could find all the palindromes in the songs on his album "paullelujah." one of his earliest singles had a rhyme structure based on the fibonnaci sequence. NERD RAP!
