I limp with this occasionally in LP, probably not the most +EV move, but anyway. On the river I'm torn between value betting against a possible stronger K and that stupid flush hitting.

I bet $2 on the turn so I can then bet $6 on the river. I've only had to put one more dollar into the pot, but the river bet looks a lot stronger now and I feel much better about folding it if I get raised. The only problem I find with river bets like that is it looks weak... kinda begging for it to get raised and you definitely have a hand to showdown.

Any idea what this guy is like? Fishy I'm definitely value betting the river, if he's tricky/good I might just check/call a reasonable bet hoping he'll try to bluff the flush draw. (and if he has it then at least I did get to show it down instead of having to fold/call a min raise)

without a read I do same as you except bet $6 on the river and fold to a raise, even a min-raise

If villain hit his flush on the river, well...you charged him for it as he was getting incorrect odds to call on the flop and turn. I think he will raise you a decent amount on the river (3 times the amount of your bet)if he has the flush, and you can easily fold at that point.

However, you very well may have the best hand here, so I like betting half the pot and folding to a big raise. Betting more than half the pot I think runs the risk of shutting out the hands that you beat. If he has K 10 and you bet the pot, then he may fold fearing that you have made a flush.
