Three players see the flop and the betting was capped preflop. I have pocket kings. Flop is A/9/Q, two hearts. I do not have the King of hearts.

I checked ... there was a bet, then a raise ... what do you do?

you fold and you don't think another thing about it. you might as well have added, "and then one of my K's spontaneously combusted, leaving me with only one" because that's really what you have to work with, here

turned out to be the wrong move - i was up against pocket jacks and pocket 10s.

i'd make the fold again 99 times out of 100 though.

Right and wrong have nothing to do with winning the pot. The move was right still, even though you would have won by calling down. Winning that pot would have been wrong.
