After 20 hands, MP2 seems TAGish. Both blinds are also taggish. Seem standard?

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/club.gif.
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP2 calls.
Flop: (7.33 SB) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif, 6/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP2 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP2 calls.
With MP2 open raising, a 3 bet here to isolate seems about right.
Turn: (4.66 BB) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP2 checks, Hero checks.
Another overcard....cheap showdown time....
River: (4.66 BB) 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP2 checks, Hero checks.
Bet this river?
Final Pot: 4.66 BB

I think you need to bet the turn. Your hand is still vulnerable to overcards and I doubt a decent TAG will try to bluff-CR you on this turn. He knows that it is too likely that this board has hit you since it contains two cards in the playing zone.

Preflop and flop are standard.
If you wanted a cheap showdown, I would go for betting the turn and checking the river. You don't want to give him a free river if he has something like AJo, AT, or J /images/graemlins/club.gifT /images/graemlins/club.gif. Also, betting the turn gives him a chance to fold TT or even JJ. If he checkraises, I would fold and not worry about it.

If I want a cheap showdown, I am betting the turn (so he can fold hi TT-JJ) and checking behind on the river.
Bet this river?
I don't think so. What calls that you beat? 88?

no. He probably doesn't have a K (or he's the ultimate slowplayer) but the only things he's calling with are gonna probably beat you.

ace high.
Turn bet is best, but given the way he played it, I think a river bet has value.
Oh, please don't quote the entire hand history from the original poster when you respond, we don't need to see it again, thanks.

if you are going for a cheap showdown, you're probably better off betting the turn and checking the river than the way you played it. It's still very possible for villain to have a hand like AJ, AT, or 88. You might also get something like TT to fold. Bottom line is if villain doesn't have a K or Q, don't give him a free shot at hitting the other 3 possible overcards he might be holding.

It's possible after the turn check and river blank that the villain will call with A-high.
