I'd raise and call a 3-bet.

I'd raise him, but I don't think I'll be capping.

looks like the confused donkey bluff for one bet on the river into an aggressor. definitely raise, call a 3 bet and puke if he had 32 looking for the gutshot

Call. UTG is saying he can beat Top Pair aces, but I'd check him out in case he's bluffing.

It crossed my mind that maybe he had a weak ace and he got confused when the board paired twice thinking his ace was a good kicker to two pair. But I find it's usually better to give your opponent credit for playing well, because if you assume he will do something sub-optimal you can get burned when it turns out he is not as much of a donk as you hoped he would be.

but he's a huge donk!

With the double paired board and the flush on board I decided to play it safe and just called.

Tom had it correct and opponents A8 was no good.

is he just as maniacal post-flop? raise and call.

is he passive post-flop? just call.

I think you'd hear from a 5 or flush earlier than the river. A 3 isn't really a big concern. And pretty much any two cards are calling a raise with two pair + A on the board.

im calling this also, if i raise and he 3 bets there is 2 BB i lose if i raise and he folds then i still get my 1 BB.

Are we good enough here to risk the extra 2 BB enough with these cards out? I don't think so.

Everybody loves the check/call, check/call, bet line because it rarely brings a river raise. Raise that mofo out of spite. OK, maybe not as you're probably chopping. Fish get lucky sometimes. I think I call and swear.

EDIT: Raise this every time. I thought it was a chop because I am not very bright.

Are we not most likely feeding the rake here?

considering your read on villian, I'd be inxclined to raise his ass on the river. if hwe hung around with a three, well you'll have a new buddy. I think the raise will certainly be for value as it is very likely he has a weaker ace

i know 40 hands isn't much to go off of here.. but and PFAF would be helpful here if he is the type to try and buy the pot with a "scare" card raise him. I kind of ignored his PFR something like 27? So I'm guessing he is moderately over agro, raise the river call the 3 bet and curse is my new opinion.

you outkick weaker A, and that A will pay off...
