SB here was a fish, 70/0/0.72 after a few orbits worth of hands. BB here was tight-passive preflop, and somewhat aggressive postflop.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
<font color="#666666">6 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB caps</font>, Hero calls, SB calls.

SB could have almost anything, but BB seems to say he has either a big 2-pair, a big flush draw, or more likely, a straight.

Turn: (9 BB) A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB calls, Hero calls.

River: (12 BB) J/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB calls, Hero calls.

This is the only spot I question. I made my flush, but it's 5-high and SB is still firing. I thought I was probably good, but with all the action on the flop, I figured it was likely that the J boated somebody. With BB along for the ride, does that alone make it worth a raise?

Final Pot: 15 BB

As far as I know, the only debatable parts are the PF raise to steal the blinds with the big fish in the SB, and calling the river bet instead of raising. Thanks for any comments.

I would raise that river and call a 3-bet...I don't think BB is going anywhere. That call/cap from BB on the flop is funky as hell.

Fold preflop. Call the flop. Raise the river.

I fold this PF since SB is so loose. The river call/raise dilemma is very close, IMO. I lean toward calling, as you did, since you are essentially betting 2 to win 1, and I think you might be behind here more often than 33% of the time -- in any case, it's close.

I gotta agree with this.

You shouldn't be stealing with this hand if the blinds are quite loose, IMO.

fold pre-flop as well, and definitely raise the river otherwise.

Calling the flop when a giant, passive fish bets into you instead of raising for a free card and for value seems wrong.

Another possibility that just occured to me is calling PF.

Passive betting into you = you screwed. Oh and with those stats, he's not passive. Also, you're not raising for value.

The "passive" I'm referring to is the 70/0/.73. If he's not the type to try for a free card on, I'm really not sure who you're going to ever pull it with. When you look at what the BB did after I raised, then sure, you can say call the flop bet. But getting it capped 3-way with a flush draw isn't bad at all.

70 VPIP with a .73 aggression is aggressive because he is playing many more marginal hands. Getting it capped 3-handed with a flush draw is bad. You do not have that kind of equity.
