What was wrong?? Awful hand...

check this hand and tell me what was wron. This was a very common hand for this weekend, were I was beat in all ways possibles in the river. I counted more than 100 dollars lost in the river.

At this particular hand, I kind of slow play to get some chips. The table was really loose and I flopped a set...check it out.

The biggest mistake I see is the play after the turn. That card had to scare him to death. You check-raise him BIG there, he goes away and doesn't hit the two-outer. If he had a King, he had to ponder if his kicker is good and even if he calls with even two pairs, you have him where you want him, a huge dog.

You don't want him to go away. He has two outs, he called with incorrect odds. There's a reason poker is called gambling.

So what do you want to do? Bet enough so he can make the correct play and fold? The ONLY way to make money in poker is to make your opponent make incorrect decisions.

If you want to charge him more to draw on you that's fine, I agree with that. But your first post says you want to make your opponent fold which is RIDICULOUS. If you think you want your opponent to fold here you don't know how to play poker.
