View Full Version : Pokertracker stats question. What do these numbers say about me?

$5/$10 PP limit game. This is only a couple hundred hands, but I lost a bit of money and I think my leak is calling down hands that are obviously no good.

Went to SD% - 40%
Win % at SD - 46%
-6.75bb/100

Is this way too little information to do anything with?

WAY too few hands to draw any meaningful conclusions.

This is very possibly true, and you wouldn't be the first player to have that problem. Post some specific hands and see what the forum thinks about those.

Just to drive the point home, over 200 hands, a -6.75BB/100 is only a 13.5 BB loss. That's less than nothing, especially on a relatively difficult level like 5/10. Two tough beats and/or a few flush draws missing will do that to you.

The birdman (which I am now introducting as the name I will call Harv72b henceforth) is correct on all points.

Sample size is wayyyyy too small. Post hands.

Yep, there's yer problem right there.

(For serious advice, read what the others have said. I can do nothing more than repeat the obvious or make snide comments. I chose the latter. Oh, and one more thing: until you get up to about 50k hands played, the old-timers will still call you a newbie.)

Move down to my level, and keep calling down marginal hands.

In all seriousness, the database is too small of course. And when you get to 10k or so, you may want to post some numbers as a checkup... but post more stats than just the 3 you posted this time. IMHO (and from what I've read around here), your Went To Showdown should be lower, your Won $ at Showdown should be higher, and you better hope for a higher BB/100 in the long run ('cause that's what it's all about).
