There's nothing worse than hitting a big hand and realizing that you're not going to make any money. I kept trying to get my opponent to bet, and finally decided I needed to try and get a least a little on the river, when the gods smiled upon me.

I usually try to 'steal' the pot by just clicking on the "Bet 30" button (or whatever the number happens to be.) They always call, then I check/call on the turn. They usually bet. The river is a read.

I'm just a rookie, I could be wrong.
