I know the initial call was questionable, but I figured for 1/7 of my stack I could potentially get all of his or MP2's stack, and I'm in position. When the SB pushes, I have to call, correct? Theres about 30k in the pot, so as long she doesnt have an overpair EVERY time, I'll be ok

Well I hate the first call, at that point you seem to be going for set value which is questionable at best. I think it is raise or fold at that point. After you call, 2 other come along and a short stack pushes in; I think you made the right choice attempting to isolate.

I"m just curious, if the blinds were 50/100 and two opponents had me covered, while I had 1400, would you hate it just as much?

Hard to say without seeing specifics, but probably not as much. I think it has a lot to do with where you are in the tourney and the value of time. With the blinds at 4000 you are quickly approaching the bubble if you aren't already passed it. There will be many better spots for you to get your money in. If you really want to play it with a min raiser and a caller, push while you have some FE and may not even have to go to showdown. I probably just fold though.

This was well past the bubble, 50 people made the money and I'd guess this was with about 20-25 people left. I agree this isn't a standard play, and one that I've never made before, but in an effort to forego some 8th place finishes fo some 1sts (and 20ths) I thought this might be a good time to try to get a huge double up. Another follow up question, how deep would your stack, and opponents, have to be here to smooth call?

Over 40k for both of you is the minimum, closer to 60k would be ideal.
