View Full Version : Calling QKo middle position, early in 20+2 Party

The texture of this game was slightly more loose-passive then normal 20+2, I have been playing pretty much with Ben Franklins "How to beat 10+1", (is this wrongish?), and decided to call qko(this is outside of the guidelines of benfranklin). What do you guys think about this as play in this situation?

I would not play KQo in the early rounds of a SNG unless

1. I could limp in with little chance of a raise behind me

and

2. I would have to be in late postion (cutoff or button).


Hands like AJ, KQ, KJ, QJ, even AQo are trouble hands to me, especially early in a tourney. I stay away from them unless the critera above is met.

IMHO
