He's projected to go anywhere from the fifth to the seventh round. Someone will take a chance on him. One of the teams that never seems to care much about a guy's attitude, behavior, etc., is most likely. Oakland and Dallas seem like the poster children for that approach.

Yeah Berman is hard to take. I think they should just let Kiper and Mort do this and get rid of Boomer and the token NFL player.

I think Miami made a mistake taking Brown #2, they should have taken Edwards/Williams and traded for Henry. Ricky may even come back and play. There is a surplus of RB's in the league should have gone with a playmaker or even Rodgers.

i would have been happy with either linebacker - nice to add youth to that 4 in the chargers 3-4. im just hoping san diego can go at least 8-8 this season.

Dood, come on, where is your pride? Chargers are the best in the AFC West this year.

Because he isn't a great tackler. Important for a LB. He is however a balls to the walls maniac. I'm guessing he dropped because of his tackling ability.

Demarcus Ware was a stupid pick by the Cowboys at 11. They couldve got him at 20, or some other DE/OLB combo player just as good.

I like when somebody gets picked that wasn't even mentioned in all the time that the team was on the clock. There's always a pause while the analysts scramble for their player notes.

If there was a good OT on the board, why wouldn't Houston take him? Why trade the pick away to N.O. to take him?

i love the chargers. but im a realist as well. randy moss himself will cause even more problems if the bolt secondary cant defend against the pass. im sure the chiefs will be pissed and workout like crazy and battle back from a chit season. the only team that i am not worried about is the denver donkos. unless champ bailey is going to play on offense, defense, and special teams i dont see denber becomming that much of a better team after this offseason.

Michael Davis

'Sup Bro is no longer All-County. He's lost a step, is old, and added a few pounds around the middle. Plus the injury is too much of a concern. Undrafted.

They came into the draft hoping and praying to get two of Ware, Merriman, and Spears. Couldn't have worked out better from their perspective.

Yeah, your right. And I think they got the best 2 out of those 3. But as for Ware vs Johnson at OLB Johnson is by far better. And Ware is only 1/2 inch taller and 9 lbs heavier than Johnson, so its not like he's a lot bigger.

Jeff W
04-23-2005, 04:35 PM
Sure they have helped themselves, but their defense is awful and it's gotten worse since last year. The Lamont Jordan pickup was sub optimal.

Yea they are. And I can't even remember who their QB is.

Joey Harrington, from right here in pwntown baby.

I went to high school with him.

This will be the year he either proves he's got what it takes to be a top NFL quarterback, or a career second-banana.

I think the lions should that receiving corps together... if Rogers stays healthy and their RB has a good sophomore season, they could actually win some road games this year.

QB Adrian McPherson FSU
RB Ciatrick Fason UF
RB Marion Barber III Minn.
RB Kay Jay Harris West Virginia
WR Chris Henry West Virginia

I think so too, and have thought so for a while. He's 6'4" 210 lbs. Runs 4.5, and has a 40 in vertical leap. Not to mention a cannon for an arm.

This Chris Henry kid is a sleeper too. WR 6'4" 200 lbs. Runs 4.4 reminds me of Randy Moss, but has had off/on the field attitude problems. But the talent is amazing.
