I suggest somebody rehosts before they die.

It starts off kinda funny, but then picks up. In the beginning I was unsure as to whether or not they'd fallen off. Family Guy is still hilarious.

that's awesome. I'm downloading as we speak. Do you know if this is the one that is premiering on May1?

I'm pretty sure it is. Some scenes that were in the previews appear in this episode.

The first link is already dead. It comes up with the message that the file is only good for 7 days or 25 downloads, whichever comes first. Somebody host, quick!

Couldn't this have easily been solved by a torrent?

-Skeme-
04-23-2005, 12:48 PM
Possibly, but I don't know how to make them. If somebody else does than go for it. With so many people downloading at once it'd probably rape your bandwidth, though.

[/ QUOTE ]

Um, thats what torrents solve.... the more people downloading, the faster it will go.

Each person begins downloading, and as more people get the file, it offers more hosts that are sharing the file. So new people might will be getting the beginning of the file from someone who is nearly finished, and the people who are nearly finished are getting an increased upload speed from the original host because his connection is not being raped by everyone just starting the download. Their play, brilliant in my opinion. [censored], I thought I'd never use that line....

ok for the full size version, the torrent is here:

North by North Quahog.avi (http://thepiratebay.org/download.php/3320310/North%20by%20North%20Quahog.avi.torrent)

Still working on the 30mb RM version...

I knew that's how it worked, but I thought the people sharing the file had to have the whole file completed before that could take place. Guess not. Buster has it down.

You need to open it with a torret client. I use bittorrent, although there are probably better ones out there.

yes, get a bitorrent program. the small file you downloaded needs to be opened by the BT program, then you will actually be downloading the file.

if you have a firewall you have to open the port for BT. don't remember it off hand you can find it on the net though.

basically if people can't connect to you to download from you it won't let you download from others as fast either.

I had a successful download of the entire episode off bittorrent. Its around 280 megs. I threw up on my webserver, so if you PM me, I will send you the link so you can d/l it quick.

I took my s-video cable and watched it on my TV. The video quality was excellent. I must say, it was quite funny to watch, and it looks like they improved the animation a lot.

Bump

You can get this off torrentspy now. Hilarious episode, and I agree with a previous poster, the animation is a lot crisper. The opening scene before the title sequence is freakin' great.

Anyhow, check out this site.

After now watching the episode twice, its quite clear to see that the writing of Family Guy is still at its prime. Did anyone realize all the lethal weapon spoofs, including the house Lowis was in was the house from Lethal Weapon 2.

I think I have sent the link to about 15 people now for the show. I am curious what everyone else thought for it?

my favorite part of the show was the starting - i was just so happy to see new family guy (i've probbaly seen every episode like 10-15 times each) that i was just smiling the whole time.

but the first part was my favorite because i loved when they went ot far with a joke until you were like "is it going to end? ok now it'll stop. Wow it's still going"

reminds me of the skinned knee and the stewiw "you're funny" part

hoyaboy1

The Passion 2 movie was basically a ripoff of when the Simpsons did the same thing with a Mel Gibson movie, but the episode was pretty funny.

I still say the Blues Brothers homage, the chase scene through a crowded shopping mall.
