Two friends woke me up from a nap earlier and we played uno 3 handed all afternoon.
I won 4/5.
Everytime they called uno, i called out their color and was able to severely out play them such as, when I had two cards left, a blue 1 and a wild and there was a green 5 on board. I knew that the girl did not have a green, in fact I thought it was blue, and so I drew a card rather than play my wild. Almost every game provided some opportunity for me to make a read on their body language. Strong is weak etc. Poker skills pwnage.
Some Questions:
If you know your opponents cant play the color, is it +EV to draw rather than play your wild assuming you have 2-3 cards left.
IF you forget to call uno, whats the penalty. We made it draw 1.
If you draw a card, can you play it? We said you could.
If you are forced to draw two/4 do you lose your turn? We said yes.
