I'm posting this hand because I find myself in this situation often. I called the river raise. Am I throwing away a bet evreytime I call in this situation or is this a standard call?

i think a call is usually fine in these situations. you will run across somebody being stupid enough times here to make it profitable.

this is typically an auto call.

No, I like this call 7 handed. I'd call a large majority of the times full ring too.

I think you're in trouble here, but I think you have to call. Pot's too big to let go for a single bet.

Would we overcall in this situation, though, or fold?

Standard. You cannot fold here for 1 bet because (a) the pot is large; you only need to be good here 9% of the time and (b) if an observant player catches that, he will raise scary rivers in the future on you

I'd play it the same. You cannot fold TP in this situation.
And folding would be very weak.
