I think I played this one right (my only real decision is preflop), given the players on Party.

It's my biggest pot ever by far in terms of big bets in a limit game, 61.5!!!!

WARNING: Long, Stupid, and Im really bored.

Actually, these plays are explained very simply. You are just not thinking on a high enough level. Let me try and explain it to you.

PREFLOP:

UTG raises with A2: The table is weak, He's a shark, and hes got wheel potential.

UTG+1 calls:J3s BUT THERE SUITED

Hero reraises: Probably the most fishy play of the hand. Everyone knows you should lay down AQ to a utg raise.

SB calls 2.5 cold: J4 makes tricky two pair.

UTG caps: Hes a shark, and wants to take back control of the hand.

FLOP:
SB Bets: top pair.

UTG raises: keeping control of the hand. Clearing outs. Also has two backdoor straight draws, thats gotta be worth something right?

UTG+1 reraises: two pair.

Hero calls: overcards, gutshot, might think villans are a bit fishy.

SB caps: Top Pair, I'd say Strong to Quite strong kicker.

TURN:
Nothing has changed from the flop.

River:

SB Bets: still riding that top pair.

UTG raises: Only way he can win the pot is by raising.

UTG+1 calls: Starting to suspect something.

HERO 3-BETS: The Nuts.

SB CAPS: Um, i dunno here, can't really think of a good reason.

Here is the hand in converter form, If you study it you might begin to see the brillance of the villans play.

You forgot to make a comment on MP1. I guess we must assume TT for him?

Naw, MP1 had 89. I guess he figured the nine wouldn't play... I don't know, with those pot odds, he should have called.

DW, I really was laughing out loud when reading your post. The best was "besides, he's got wheel potential."

I was gonna yell at you for calling 3 cold on two streets until I realized that you not only had immediate odds for the gutshot, but you could probably cap the flop for value.

Ni han.
