My guess would be Philadelphia, MS.

Unless there is a dog track with poker in Florida, Phily, Miss is probably right. But then, you might as well go to Tunica.

After just moving from Atlanta, I feel your poker-less pain.

I would just go to Tunica.

Also, I'm very wary of playing the club scene right now.

Agreed, still some good small home games though (1 table places).

Tunica is a good bit farther than the SilverStar. SS gets a good # of players from Atlanta. If you care, they have an amazing golf course.

I second that. The poker is much better in Tunica but for Golf Dancing Rabbit is on Golf Digest's "The top 100 you can play" list and I think it's second best in Mississippi. Since we're on the golf subject, Tunica has 3 nice courses. The Grand course, Cottonwoods, is the nicest but it's around $180. Tunica National is the newest and I hear it's nice and not quite as expensive. Harrah's, Hollywood, and Sam's Town, share a course called River Bend. I've played Cottonwoods and Riverbend many times each and although I'd prefer Cottonwoods Riverbend is a fun course that's quite a challenge. If your not used to fairway golf bring a lot of balls. /images/graemlins/grin.gif OB, tall grass, and water, can eat up balls quick at Riverbend. Cottonwoods is LONG LONG LONG. There are a couple par 4's that are driver, 3 wood. (490+) Factor in the delta wind and good luck. Your gonna need it. I've shot anywhere from 73 to 96 at Cottonwoods. The 96 I shot there are 2 holes back to back that go opposite directions. The first hole I hit my drive close to 390 yards. The second I hit the ball just as good and it measured 160. A few holes after those there's a 190 yard par 3 over water. Catch the wind in your face at 40 MPH on that whole and the only way to play it is to another fairway and hope you hit the green coming back, with the wind. Fun times.
