Difficult decision but I think you should have had much more money in there.
If you are not goong to just check around on the flop (to try and slow play) then I think you should be betting the pot or at least 3/4.

On the turn calling is the worst possible idea. If your hand is worth a call then, in my opinion, you should be raising. This is the chance to build up the pot. If he calls then you are almost definetly behind. If he re-raises, then I think it is probably an easy fold.

Assuming it then got to the river your decision would be much easier because the pot would be so much larger.

i thought forsure he had the 5, so i just called the turn hoping to fill up, knowing if i did fill up i could get an all in.

unfortunatly for me though he had 8 7. always sucks losing to a higher fh.

thanks for the input on my flop bet.
no more betting 1/2 the pot for me

Easy all-in... I mean c'mon... You're just doubting yourself now cause you probably lost this one.

95% of the time, you KNOW exactly what he has. Either he has a 5, or he's putting YOU on a 5 and has 9-10.

If he turned out to have 88, 68, 48 or 78, well, unlucky for you, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
