Must post and ask because this has come up a lot lately. I always check-call or check-fold if the board is like that and >= 2 opponents and I don't have a flush. Bad??

I always mess up value bets, but I'll give it a shot.
Assuming they're typical calling stations, they basically have random hands.
So, against two random hands, there's approx a 60% chance that someone has a single heart, and a 40% chance that nobody has a heart. To bet for value you need to be called with a worse hand 1/3 = 33% of the time. I think this is definitely a value bet situation.
