I love a good mixed cd filled with "i feel like $hit" songs on them. Anyone have anyfavorites? When you're depressed what do you listen to?

Nothing pumps me up like Rage Against the Machine. I wish I listened to it when I'm depressed. I usually just listen to sappy depressing stuff that makes me more depressed, but makes me feel better at the same time. Weird.

I completely get what you're saying. But in the first case, I'd go with something along the lines of Something Corporate, maybe Dashboard Confessional. Basically any of the bands in EmoGame. Anything off of Beck's album Sea Change is great too.

With the second case, I'd definitely go with Elliiot Smith or maybe some Nick Drake.
