I wasn't sure if a push was correct here. I remember thinking that if blinds were raising soon, I should push, but I know for sure that there was at least two more hands of level 4.

You were short, and the other stacks were big, but your FE isn't great, and T7s just isn't the hand i wanna be pushing. At lease make it connected. And 150 chips to your stack doesn't do much, you'll have ~800 after blinds pass, and i'm sure you'll get a much better oportunity to steal-- or maybe even pick up a legit hand.

I know it hurts when it gets folded to BB, but u gotta pass up on this one, too many people can call.

disclaimer: I'm a $20+2er trying to break into the $55's on the weekends.

Well, we can answer this question with math. I know that if this were level 5, where blinds are 100/200, this is an auto push for me. I'm not positive at this level.

Anyone want to give me a potential hand range of callers, and then the probability that my push is folded around? I'll do the rest.

I think this is definitly a fold if you're going to get the blinds at 50/100. I don't think the 150 chips matter for your FE all that much with the big stack right on your left. If I'm the big stack I'm calling with the same hands against 980 as I am against 800 more than likely.

As for what I put them calling on I put them all 77+ A9+ except the big stack who I put at 22+ A2+ KQ and KJ because well I'm lazy and I dont think its off by that much and with those hands its a fold but not by as much as I thought before I checked.

A2 for the bigstack? Never.

depends who it is. without a name I don't think its off by that much for the average 55 player.

Im pretty sure that against almost all opponents, pushing here is wrong.

even after you clear the blinds, you have 8 bb left. fold away

Ill point in you in the right direction...UTG push can go both ways...it can be percieved as strength or, what i think here, as weakness (bc you're the SS and blinds a' comin). BUt in any regard, i would tighten up the ranges a bit ATs+ AJo+ 88+ KQs...make it wider perhaps for BB and SB...and all the other relevant info...

thats my guess anyhow. W/o any calcs, id fold this (when is level 5 coming?)

Well, I folded here, but I thought this might be close. Furthermore, I thought the range of calling hands would be relatively tight. At least top 15%.
