Wasnt sure how to play this hand. Would it have been best to fold it? There were many people to act behind me but I figured odds were good that I had the best hand. (I pushed)

You definitely do not want to push here. UTG this hand is a little dicey with your stack and the blinds where they are. I'd probably limp in.
