Students at my school were protesting the recent finding that the University of California system has hidden 227 million dollars to divide amongst their regents instead of use FOR OUR TEACHERS that are underpaid and are facing outrageously large class sizes. The video was shot on the evening of Monday, April 19th, after the chancellor called the police and demanded that protestors be forcefully removed from the school's(that the students pay for) lawn. Watch for yourself...

i normally wouldnt post something like this but the police being coerced into commiting brutality on students(who at the same time, happen to be customers of BOTH of the opressing parties) so that the regents of the university of california can keep taxpayer money that is supposed to be going to the schools. One government agency commiting brutality to cover up the blatent fraud of another agency is inexcusable.

The reaction the people are having on that website is rediculous. It's not like the police are beating the demonstrators or whatever they are. The people are sitting down, locking their arms together, which seems like they're resisting arrest. Hrm...As far as I can tell, the cops are maybe holding down the jugular to restrict blood to the brain and cause fainting. It's not exactly a safe method stop the students from resisting, but I don't think all "YOU'RE HURTING HIM" yelling was necessary, as I doubt they were hurting them. Also, the students yelling "HOLD ON TO HIM" were just making it worse. If they let the person go, it'd be over.

Where was the brutality? No billy clubs, no mace, no tasers. The police could not have done their job any more gently.

The students have a right to protest. Maybe the order to arrest the protetors was wrong. But the police did their job here.

This movie is freakin funny...don't students know what to do anymore? Don't shower, puke all over yourself, the police won't touch you.

I dont see the brutality either. Weren't they told to leave? The when they decided NOT to leave what did they expect would happen?
Standing around and calling the cops names actually irritates me more than anything.

There were about 20 people there that should have at least been fined for wearing a mullet.

Radical liberals desperately need a real cause. This is pathetic. Maybe we should gather up all the Nebraskans and place them in internment camps. Then their lust for civil disobedience would be justified.

GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!! Its left wing losers such as yourself that are causing this country to go down the tubes. The police shouldn't have to wast time on ignorant children such as yourself with messed up values. Get a life, get a job, and be thankful you can go to college and get a good education in the first place.
