I had mentioned on a couple threads that I'd post when a great deal came across on these. I just ordered another one for $404 including tax/shipping. That is a freaking steal. Follow the instructions HERE (http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/464528/).

Wow, thanks. Think I'll pick up two for me and one for my wife.

Just FYI, I couldn't get 2 of them in my cart at the same time and still get all the discounts, so you may need to do them one at a time.

I had to do them one at a time too. $379.67 total with shipping... not bad.

For the 2100fp? How'd you get it down from $422?

Did you get the DPA discount? That was another 10%. It doesn't apply until you are in the checkout process and choose it as your payment method though.

Also, note that mine was $24 more because I was charged tax. $379 is the base price without tax, and not all states require dell to charge tax.

Thanks for the tip. ordered one up. do you need a certain video card?

LCD's take DVI plugs, and your standard video card comes with a VGA plug for CRT's, with usually but not always a DVI outlet too. You will sometimes also get a VGA to DVI adapter. If you do, then even a VGA plug can be made to work with your LCD. The picture supposedly degrades just a bit, but lots of people who use the Dell here have said they can't tell the difference.

The 2001fp has lots of inputs, including a DVI and a VGA. It also has S Video and Composite video.

Cool, no need for adapters then.

hmm...those codes didn't work for me; it kept giving me an error message that said they'd expired. Anyone else running into this problem?

I guess it was correct to buy four immediately without really considering whether or not I need them /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Will do. I'm going to need another one anyway in a few weeks I suppose, so I'll be keeping an eye out.
