I'm a little curious about your thoughts on this play.

BB 15000/30000 with antes 1500
relevent stacks
UTG+1 had ~650K
MP1 1.2m
Shaniac in the SB 320K

tourny is down to 10 with $395 for 10th $612 for 9th up to $9800 for 1st

UTG+1 raises to 120K
MP1 cold calls
Shaniac goes into the tank and decides to push all in for 320K with AT /images/graemlins/heart.gif

my reads to that point was UTG was fairly solid but Shaiac had some FE against his stack being the raise was for 1/2 his chips and would put him on a short stack.

MP was calling there with any 2 i would imagine getting 3-1 on his money as we just saw him call with J9s after he was repopped by a short stack stealing from LP.

If MP had opened I think i like the play where he does have some FE but after UTG +1 raises and gets cold called do you make this move with AT?

Would love to hear some comments on the hand.

I've not made many final tables but I would fold this. With UTG+1 being fairly solid he will not raise UTG with too many hands, esp if he knows that MP could well call his raise. Without folding equity against MP, and UTG+1 that could also call, I'll only push this with a high pocket pair or maybe AK. With 10 bigblinds left I'll wait for a better spot. Also the stacksizes of the other players at the table should influence your decision.

it costs 60k a round. Hard to not push here where you get to 800K or so if you win.

reread, it's 10 handed and UTG limped and that limper was raised relatively strong

i'd fold the hand there.

Stars tables are 9-seaters. If they're 10 it means they are playing on two tables and the pot is 5-handed. Easy push.

Best,

If I play this hand (and I'm not 100% sure I would), I would probably stop-n-go.

Not in love with the play but it is justifiable imo because of the overlay and the folding equity that he will have.
