Was the guys fifth hand at the table, he hadn't even been involved in anything on the flop yet.

i was just worried if my flop cap was too aggressive here. i really didn't think it was, but wanted to make sure.

I might have called the 3-bet and raised looked to raise again on the turn. You're heads up and the pot is small. If this induces him to lead into you on the turn, then you win an extra .5 BB (which is 8% of the pot, which is a decent amount).

HU you can call the 3-bet and raise him on the turn. Let him bet his money away

I think you could have squeezed more value out of this hand by calling the 3-bet on the flop and raising the turn when he bets into you again. It looks like he was trying to completely bluff you off a hand though so I would guess in this situation you got as much value out of the hand as possible.

BTW, Heads-up, I don't think the coordination on this board is anything to worry about.

blind post:

the more i think about it, the more i think maybe you could call his 3-bet and raise the turn to make more out of this guy. He's probably got nothing more than overcards or a medium PP.

Second to that, I think your line is fine.
