Tournament schedule change at the Borgata

Not official yet but was told by a floor person that the morning tournament will move from 11:00am to 9:30am with registration starting at 8am on May 1st. I was also told that the evening tournaments (except Friday which is going from 3pm to Noon) would be discontinued for the summer starting in May.

Yeah, my husband and I were at the Trop about a month ago and were at a table with a dealer and a floor guy from the Borg. They both mentioned the tournament stoppage come May. They said the Borg is just too busy: they make more $$ without the tournaments.

I heard the same thing.

The Trop starts their weekend tournaments at 9:30 now. The Trop also raised the fee to $200 +20.

That's too bad for those of us who commute from NYC. Now it will be borderline impossible to make it there on time for the morning tourney.

I didn't mind leaving at 5:30, but 3:30??? I thnk not!
