Will 4:20 Be a good SNG day?

One of the best days of the year to play online poker and sit 'n' gos, has got to be New Years. There are very few sober people on new years and the ones that are bored are playing some very drunken internet poker. This is second hand information, as I have never been sober myself on new years, or played internet poker on that particular day of the year.

Today is April 20th, a national holiday of sorts for many. People all across North America are caliing in sick to celebrate with their friends. Perhaps they will order a few Pizzas and play high stakes SNGs?

Maybe Irie will take one too many hooka hits in honor of the day and pass out at level 2 of ten tables. Could this be the only day of the year I should try to sit to his left?

Anyone with any drug reference in there name I am sitting to their left, just for this one day of the year. What other adjustments could, and should be made?

Who else is CELEBRATING the 420? I personally will start celebrating in a little while, and you may even see me at the tables at some point today. Perhaps you should sit to my left.

It used to be legal in Ontario, but the law is not so clear now.

There will be no SNGs today... though I would highly recommend sitting to my left tonight if you are in Las Vegas... it will be +THCEV.

I play poker under the influence of 420 on a daily basis. Its kinda like ritalin for me.

This post made me lol, I didnt even think of today's date. Mainly because I dont celebrate the day.

In all seriousity.... I doubt the games will reflect the holiday today. Those who inhale and play will do so like they normaly do. Those that dont wont. Anyone smoking that normaly doesnt smoke will most likely not be playing poker.

Already got my celebrating done with...couple bowls out of the water bong with the fiance...now I'm at work until 7am. Bah, what a crappy night. Oh and no poker for me when I'm blitzing this hard during the day. Especially after the losing streak I've encountered the last couple of sessions. I'm gonna come back after the holiday with five days off of work with my batteries recharged...Hopefully the rotten beats well ease up a bit...Happy 4:20 Everyone.

4:20 is the universal time for smoking some ganja... I honestly dont have the slightest clue as to why. I found this on a quick google search...

The number 420 is a euphemism for cannabis and its associated culture. The exact origin of the term is unknown, although there is much speculation and many urban legends about its origin. Smoking marijuana at 4:20 (preferably AM, as 4:20 PM can be construed as 16:20) or on April 20 has special meaning to some.

It actually started at San Raphael High back in the 70's... a group of potheads agreed to meet to smoke at 4:20 and it sort of became a code word for smoking herb in general. Nobody knows how or why it caught on.

I once heard it was California Penal Code for possession... but it's not. Interestingly, Senate Bill 420 IS, in fact, the California bill that legalized medical marijuana.
