Oh yea. I won't argue that KFC is bad. It's just that Popeye's is so much better. The only thing that Popeye's could learn from KFC is the buffet concept. That would so pwne.

There aren't any Popeye's in this area, but from when I've had it elsewhere I was never impressed so I chose KFC.

Fact is Bojangles pwns them both, but it wasn't a choice.

For some reason I really like KFC's mashed potatoes and gravy. I'm not sure why--it's that weird instant stuff but I still like it.

One thing I'm surprised no one has brought up is the greasiness factor of KFC vs. Popeyes.

I've only had each about 4x, and I must say that in my experience Popeyes is at least 50% greasier. I voted for KFC because of this fact, although I'm no where close to the fried chicken zealot that most who posted in this thread seem to be.

Anyone else have similar or different experiences?
FWIW I do like the spicy option of Popeye's better, but the mouth full of grease is what turned me away.
