If I folded this I would be left with t830 after posting the SB. I don't think I have much fold equity with t830 at 150/300.

What is the shi**iest hand you could call with here?
How about low connectors (45,56,67,78,89,etc) or hands like K5, Q4, J3, etc.

Fold trash hands or try to get lucky here?
Trash hands - 72,83,92,T2,42 etc.

If you put him on any two, J7s is pretty much the worst hand that has $EV call > $EV fold ICM wise. I know there are other considerations since the blinds are advancing, but still this is if you put him on ANY TWO here. Also, I think you will have some FE on the BB next hand if the big stack lets you use it.

Why would you call J7s to a guy who hasn't been pushing any 2, especially not HU? When you call, you need to have a +50% chance of winning against a range of hands, more in a SNG because of the prize structure. There is no way J7s is a decent call here, though I'd probably push from SB.

haha, first off, the first time i read this post, i thought hero had 77, not J7. but, nothing else about your post makes any sense at all, particularly the "when you call you need to be ahead..." and "particularly in the money..."

The only person who said call was Ogre. Citanul read the J7 as 77 when he said call. He didn't retract the call, but I wouldn't put him down as a call unless he says it again.

I'm not a call. I only said it is a marginal call if you put him on absolutely any two.

Easy fold. Blinds are relatively low and j7s is a terrible hand against even any two.
