From what I've seen, UTG is a nut and cutoff is decent.

You screwed up the flop. UTG is a maniac so the good CO is going to raise the UTG if he bets and knock you out. You should bet the flop, hope the wacko UTG raises and knocks out the CO. If the CO 3 bets or cold calls or whatever you can be pretty sure he has you beat.

The way you played it you are faced with 2 cold on the flop with no idea what either of your opponents have. It would happen that way on any flop. UTG auto-bets, CO auto-raises, you are stuck with JJ and no information.

I might cap preflop for value, other than that, I don't know what else you can do.

Okay, if i'm going to lead the flop, I'd rather cap preflop, what do you think of that?

Sure, capping preflop is fine.

Grunching

I think I cap preflop. The problem with calling is that you lose initiative, and can forced out on a later street. Plus you don't get much information if the maniac caps.

The preflop hand ranges for the solid player is very wide and he'll make this flop raise to force you out with hands you are ahead of.

Also, don't post parts of the hand that are not relevant. Cut it off after you fold the flop.

For those that don't know what grunching is, it's responding to a post without reading the replies to the post first. Micro players are doing it and I think its a good thing.
