After killing the party 3-6 over the course of about 40k hands I built up a br that I thought I could be comfortable with at 5-10. Well, 1200 hands later (yeah, sample size, I know) I'm losing my ass at 5-10. This is a hand from today's session. I realized I don't know what the hell I'm doing.

Help? Fold preflop? I'm not used to how different the play is at 5-10 than at 3-6 at all...

Don't try for the checkraise on the river. You got your card, now bet it. Although I would just call if he raises you for fear of the flush, at least try to get one BB out of your set.

Preflop: fine.

Flop: I'm not sure I understand the flop bet.

Turn: Stop n' go? Why?

River: BET

You're not playing this for set value, so why not reraise pre-flop if you think you have the best hand?

You have to bet river right?
He didn't raise utg with j10 and if he had a flush or set you would've heard about it by now.

Thanks all. Yeah, these are pretty much all of the things that went through my head right after the hand ended. Jesus, that went poorly.

He mucks, mhig, of course.
