I was reading the "Your play?" thread and ran across a very similar hand last night. Pretty standard. I flopped the nut flush and the villain hit top set. The hand history shows the way I bet. Is this correct? I am still trying to figure out the proper way to play hands like this where you have the nuts and you know the other player is hoping the board pairs. Any advice would be appreciated.

Here is the hand:

$50 PL Omaha Hi

** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ Tc As Jh Ac ]

Villain raises [$2.75].

Hero calls [$2.75].

Player #3 calls [$2.25].

** Dealing Flop ** [ 9c, Kc, 2c ]
Player #3 checks.
Villain bets [$5].
Hero raises [$24.05].
Player #3 folds.
Villain calls [$19.05].
** Dealing Turn ** [ 3c ]
Villain checks.
Hero bets [$54.75].
Villain is all-In.
** Dealing River ** [ 9s ]
Hero shows [ Tc, As, Jh, Ac ] a flush, ace high.
Villain shows [ 5s, 5d, Kh, Ks ] a full house, Kings full of nines.
Hero wins $22.5 from side pot #1 with a flush, ace high.
Villain wins $119.1 from the main pot with a full house, Kings full of nines.

Get in as much of his money in before the board pairs like you did, I play it the same.

you can't do anything better, and he can't do anything worse.
