what a bunch of crap. i like my secretary and she does a great job, but this is lame.

I thought the 26th was secretaries day. Am I a week off? If so, that could explain why my admin is being snippy.

no you're close. email sent around the office today:

"will be celebrated this April 24 - 30, 2005. Administrative Professionals Day is Wednesday, April 27. XXXXXX has planned to provide lunch and a gift of $25.00 for all support staff on that day. Please remember to thank and recognize the people who help make contrbutions to our workplace on a daily basis."

Who makes these things up anyway? Some group of random mailroom guys that want to be "recognized?"

I think I'll designate the first week of May to be Sexual Harassment Week. The week after that is Bring a Bottle to Work Week. And you bdamn well better recognize.
