Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

BB (t1655)
UTG (t450)
Hero (t705)
Button (t1050)
SB (t4140)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG raises all-in 450, Hero ???

I push this without thinking. What if my stack were 1500 or bigger? Same deal?

Yup, easy push here. You need to amass some chips here and your BB is fast approaching. No time to wait for a monster, and you probably have UTG smoked.

If I'd open-push it, I'd certainly push it here. And unless your stack is a lot bigger, there's no other play in my book.

UTG's range of pushing hands has to be much greater than this. He only has 2bb's and will be the BB the very next hand. Any two would be much more reasonable. Even terrible players are pushing a large range of hands here.
