Push back at him and see him flip over QT with 1 diamond or maybe even JJ. If it's 2 pair or trips, restart tourney.

Thank you. Can anyone back him up with that? Via logic or extended credibility?

Eh, I'd push back at him. There are a TON of WSOP-wannabes that will push at you with crap at this level. I busted someone the other day at Level 1 with my TPTK against his TPGK that he couldn't let go of.

It's plays like this that let you grab a ton of chips early so that you can more easily dominate the table later on. But, your way is definitely safe.

lol, ure exicted because a guy couldnt flod his TPGK.
THIS HAPPENED ON A 11S, ITS REALLY TRUE.
1st or 2nd level. were all avg. stack
ME:raise to 100
Idiot : call
11er: min-raises
ME: pushes
Idiot: calls
11er : calls
I show kings, 11er shows jacks, idiot shows 54s, probabilty is on my side and I win.(note: the 54s is in better shape than the jacks guy)

At any of the 800 chip games I push this right back at him.
At higher levels you might see a middle or bottom set or possibly a slow played overpair but more often than not at the 11s, 22s or 33s your TPTK has him beat.

Obviously there is the possibility that he played Q9 or Q4 of another suit or he's drawing to the nut flush with Ax but you can't be scared of those. Push back, he'll call and hope for no suckout.

Interesting recommendations on this hand. I tend to play really tight in the early rounds and try not to get involved all-in w/ anything less than two pair or better. But it sounds like I've been walking away from TPTK too often.

I thought this hand from earlier today was an affirmation of that. (If he had more chips, I would have folded to an all-in). But should I typically call this push back at me? My reasoning for thinking it was a bad call: 1.) it's a classic BB situation w/ crap turning to two pair 2.) he had so little fold equity given the size of his stack, he had to have known I was going to call (it's like those fishy min-reraises).

Button probably thought: "I have a set of nines here, the second nuts, and someone from EP made a smallish bet which probably means a top pairish hand. I'll think push all in and kill all the action now."

Hmmmm... not really. Proabably something like this: "500? 500 is a huge number."

You cannot fold this hurr.

Yes, you have to call given your pot odds. You should've bet less (100 is fine; then you can pot the turn) but you still call this because of his tiny stack.

But it's a very different hand because this is a BB CR as opposed to a button monkey push.

Advice accepted, thank you, next time I'll call. I got caught up in the momentum that was ABenFranklin how to beat 10+1 and got over protective.
