And the diamondbacks are in second place in the NL west at 7-6.

The Mariners, however, continue to disappoint. It is, of course, revoltingly early in the season but already I sense that this will be another great year for Baseball. Maybe a .400 hitter, a lot of sluggers with 50 or 60 homers, pennant races coming down to the last game, and death and mayhem in both the field and the stands. America at its best.

0n an unrelated note i am pretty happy with the phillies at 7-6. the pitching has been solid, lieber looks really good. also burrell is off to a fast start after two off years. I'd like to see Thome get in the swing of things.

I think we will see 2-3 guys with 50 jacks. I'd really like to see a triple crown race personally. Manny could definitely do it.

The Dodgers will win that division in a walk. It is pretty weak. Then the Dodgers will probably get pwned (again) by the Cardinals in the playoffs.

I'm not high on the cards this year, I think the pitching breaks down.

You can afford some breakdowns in pitching when you have Albert Pujols raking in the middle of your lineup.
