Von Erich Family (http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/v/vonerichs.html)- one of the saddest true stories ever. These guys were really at the top of the wrestling world back in 1982-1984.

February 10, 1984: David (25) was found dead in Japan, the victim of acute enteritis, a severe inflamation of the intestines..

April 12, 1987: Mike von Erich committed suicide by overdosing on a tranquilizer placidyl -- he was only 23..

September 12, 1991: Chris von Erich committed suicide by shooting himself he was only 21..

February 18, 1993: Kerry von Erich took his own life and died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. He was 33 years old..

Kevin von Erich is the only surviving member of the von Erich dynasty and attributes that to his marriage and direction in life..




It's actually widely believed that David Von Erich died of a drug overdose rather than the public story of acute enteritis.

A better memory: Gorilla Monsoon pwns Muhammad Ali.

First, Ali enters the ring in an impomptu challenge to Monsoon.

Monsoon moves out of the way of a few jabs and then grabs Ali in an airplane spin. Ali hurries away from the ring afterwards.

The original Doink the Clown's girlfriend cuts my hair when I'm in town, and he's usually around. Before I went the first time, I was given specific instructions to not ask about Dink or The Rock. Apparently the mere mention of their names sends him into a fit of rage.
