that masturbation is bad?

I have a 30GB folder that I am tempted to delete, but I just need a good reason.

Imagine that half of the times you masturbate, you did pushups for ten minutes instead.

porn is easy to get, dont worry about deleting it.

i dont even keep porn, it clogs up my comp.

would ten pushups about twice a week really be that good for me?

though if i were to do this when i was fourteen i would look like frickin' ronnie coleman.

The man said 10 minutes of pushups not 10 pushups. And if you did it you would be shocked in less than 1 month.

Note, this doesn't make masturbation bad. It makes it not as productive as other things. Which should surprise no one who's ever masturbated.

Dear Bison,

When will you offer better advice on this topic?

Sincerely,
Cup

Dear Cup,

All one needs do if they're in search of my advice is bump the Dear Bison thread. That having been said, prolonged periods (months+) without ejaculation have been correlated with prostate cancer.

Beat off for health.

Masturbation like everything else in life is healthy in moderation.

I'm imagining it, but for most everyone on the planet, the marginal utility of ten minutes of physical exercise is gonna be greater than finishing the fifth chapter in Caro's Book of Tells.

So you are saying there are more fat people on this planet than stupid people?? I HIGHLY disagree with that. I think peoples inability to think is a much larger problem than the long lines at the burger king drive through

make my original statement "read a book of value".

Woah there, aspiring television pundit, that's not what I said at all.

"For most everyone on the planet, the marginal utility of ten minutes of physical exercise is gonna be greater than finishing the fifth chapter in Caro's Book of Tells." (or insert book of choice)

I didn't say anything about fat people or stupid people.

fair enough, I obviously went with that, where you wern't going. But you are still wrong

You do realize that most of the people on this planet live in poverty and work their fingers to the bone just so they can eat? 10 minutes of reading is going to do waaaaay more for them than 10 minutes of doing something they are already used to doing

bisonbison
04-19-2005, 12:59 AM
So now this is a discussion about poverty and my apparent blindness to it?

I retort, as a general rule, all other things being equal: 10 minutes of masturbation < 10 minutes of reading < 10 minutes of pushups < 30 minutes of pushups, then reading, then masturbation < 30 minutes of reading, then masturbation, then pushups < 30 minutes of reading, then pushups, then masturbation < 30 minutes of masturbation, then reading, then pushups < 30 minutes of masturbation, pushups, then reading < 30 minutes of pushups, masturbation, then reading.

lol, no...but if you are going to nit pick over wording, its only fair I do the same /images/graemlins/smile.gif

edited to add: And I still disagree even if you exclude 3rd world nations. True story, my sister works as a hair stylist. Before her lunch break one day she told her co-workers she was going ot the library to get some books. Somone asked her why she would buy books when she was broke (she had made some comment about being broke earlier in the day). My sister then had to explain that books at the library are free. /images/graemlins/confused.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif

actually you are wrong too, he said nothing of 10 minutes he just said half the time--and if 10 minutes is half the time you beat off then you waste too much time. what do you like tease yourself? masturbation should not be 20 minutes, sex should be at least that long but not jacking off.

half the time would be a couple pushups.

Why choose one or the other? Just combine all 3 activities.

edit: becomes much easier when you master the 1-handed pushup. until then, just get creative...
