Anyone play Absolute? There's some nice rakebacks through SNGs. I don't like the interface very much but it could be worth it. How is it?

Blinds, structure, fish, etc?

Website AP page says...

Points for every dollar in tournament buy-in ($10 + $1 tournament would earn 4 points).

That's $.40 in bonus + 25% for rakeback = $.65 back per $1 in fees.

....but cashier screen at bottom says...

For every dollar in tournament buy-in fee you will earn 1 point.

I just joined a $10+$1 to see and went from 2 points to 3 points. So it's $.35 off, I think FTP is higher.

Maybe I should e-mail them since the two pages say two different things.

because i wish i understood how to make all this extra money using the ins and outs of these websites but i just get in there and play cards - i'm sure there's so much more money to be made by bonus whoring but i don't understand it yet

Well absolute run bonuses constantly. Enough to where you'll likely never be playing there without a bonus to clear.

You get $10 every 100 points. The Absolute Rewards Page (http://www.absolutepoker.com/PromotionsARP.asp) says you get 4 points for a $10+$1 tournament so after 100 of them you'd get back $40 in bonus money. You can get rakeback at absolute for 25% on top of the bonuses so that's another $25 for a total of $65 returned off your $100 in fees you paid.

However I only got 1 point instead of 4 for a $10+$1 so I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe I have to wait to get my little rewards card...but I know I've played over 500 raked ring hands.

Keep us updated (or pm me) about getting the points you were supposed to get for those SNGs - I'd like to know what bonuses I should look out for that are less time consuming to clear.

It's more for the rakeback not the bonus whoring. If you end up playing a lot the rakeback can help.

Will do, Full Tilt seems to be the fastest way to pay off a bonus & there is rakeback out there for it too, wish I wouldn't have signed up first.
