pass to mike miller on a turn-around fade and hits the shot 4-5 feet inside the 3 point line. memphis wins, right?
well...as the ball is in his hands, the shot-clock expires...but furthermore...before the pass is even made..the shot clock starts running.
after alot of deliberation, meetings etc., the 3 refs decide that the shot is/would've been good without the shot-clock mistake.
in other words...san antonio loses, ensuring a number 1 seed to the suns.
next saturday, suns vs. memphis; san antonio vs. denver.
