I recently had an aweful run at a few different blackjack tables...I lost 67 straight hands, curious as to what are the ods of this happening? on another note I play pretty close to perfect basic strategy with the exception of splitting 8's against a face

With very few givens in your example, I'll throw some in to get to a solution:

Let's say that, on any given hand of BJ, you have a 60% probability of losing the hand. Just a ballpark figure. That would mean the probability of losing 67 in a row is:
p=0.60^67. As you might guess, this produces a very small number.
Take the inverse of this number, and you get the odds of it happening, or roughly 731 trillion to one. Tough break.
