Try the Psychology forum, they're sure to respond with deadly seriousness. Who knows, maybe you actually need some.

The funny thing is that I am studying Marketing right now & this test has a lot to do with ROI strategies /images/graemlins/grin.gif
When I see ROI it definately makes my mind go everywhere.

This can't be good. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I feel your pain. I'm a grad student with a love for poker. I get paid to be a student so I have a lot of pressure to do well on my tests. I study for 4 or so hours and reward my hard work with a few hours of poker, whether it is SnGs, MTT or a ring game. It gets my mind off studying for awhile but also quenches my desire to play. Then I study again. It works for me. Good luck and remember....4 years of bullshit (i.e. college degree) does pay off in the end. You have your whole life to play poker. The college degree will start your bankroll a little higher and thus increase your winnings b/c you can play at higher stakes. If you're good /images/graemlins/smile.gif. GOOD LUCK.

Choose the option of a 24 hour cooling-period.

Yup, that's me, only I have actually studied quite a bit for this one or I probably wouldn't be making fun of myself for it. I'll post my grade after & see if you guys can give me any oppinions on how I played it. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

hmm, pretty generous of you /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/grin.gif
If I get worse or near that after the amount of studying I have done(seriously), I'll be on tilt, so more reason for me not to play any more SNGs right now.

I've quit playing cold-turkey (except for during class) until after finals are over in the middle of May. I used to play 40-50 SnGs per day, so this was quite a shock to the system.

The first few days after quitting, I didn't study and I didn't play SnGs, I just kind of stared vacantly into space half the time. After those first few days, I found it easier to concentrate on studying and now things are going pretty well.

I think I have a pretty good shot of passing all my classes and graduating this semester. After I graduate, I once again plan on becoming a SnG fiend.

Heh, I have a full ride right now, although after this year I'll be down to 75%. Still good /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wow, you almost guessed my score, although the curve will be massive because of how impossible the tests are, so does that count?
